Praying For Emily MacGillivray

As many of you are aware, a young girl in our parish , Emily MacGillivray is bravely fighting leukemia for the second time. The MacGillivray family have been parishioners at ABVM for many years and are very involved with different ministries within the parish. Emily is 5 years old and the youngest of Mountain and Grace’s 8 children. Grace post updates on Emily’s treatments on their Caring Bridge account.

This weekend, she shared that Emily will be preparing for another round of treatment. She also stated that one of Emily’s favorite saints is Saint Giana and asked that people join in praying a novena for Emily in the days leading up to the beginning of Emily’s treatments.

If you would like to join in this novena, we will share the prayers daily on our Instagram and Facebook accounts beginning today, January 5th. Please pray for the intention of Emily’s healing from cancer in the name of Jesus Christ and the salvation of her soul.
