World Mission Sunday
Always celebrated on the second to last Sunday of October, this year it will be marked on October 20th. World Mission Sunday is a special day that unites Catholics worldwide in prayer, solidarity, and support for the Church’s mission efforts.
This year’s theme, chosen by Pope Francis, is rooted in the Gospel of Matthew: “Go and Invite Everyone to the Banquet,” reflecting the inclusive and urgent call to bring God’s love to everyone. Join us in this universal mission to spread the Gospel and invite all to experience the joy of Christ’s message!
DELCO YD Kick-Off Event
DELCO Young Disciples are getting ready to launch their second season of events! 7th-12th graders and their families are invited to join us at The Malvern Retreat House for our Kick Off Event on Sunday, October 20th, from 3p-7p!
We will be touring the grounds of the Malvern Retreat House, visiting the shrine of Blessed Carlo Acutis, viewing the Eucharistic Miracles exhibit, attending Mass with Fr. Stephen DeLacy and Fr. Anthony Albanese, and then celebrating our kick off with pizza and s'mores!

Young Disciples Adoration
Please join us for our First Summer Pop-Up Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday, July 18th @ 7:30 p.m. @ St. Laurence Church, Upper Darby. It will be a night of peace, music and fellowship. Confession will be available and our faith focus will be on Mercy. Young Disciples, their friends and family members are all welcome. A reception will follow Adoration and if you are able to bring a "sweet treat" to share it would be most appreciated.
