A Finance Council is an advisory body to the pastor that assists the pastor in his administration of the finances and temporalities of the parish but does not determine parish policy. Members of the Parish Finance Council are to be active and practicing parishioners of the parish, in good standing, whose foremost priority for the parish is the development of a community of faith and who view their concern with finances in that context.
