What is almsgiving and how do we live it out? There are few areas of our lives less evangelized and more secular than our finances and material possessions. Americans consistently rank in the top five nations for generosity. However, the average American only gives 2% of their salary a year to charity. The lack of generosity is rooted in a lack of understanding and belief in the Catholic pillar of almsgiving. In this talk, Will Murley - a Catholic financial professional - will talk about how to almsgive, why it's spiritually necessary, and the chief obstacles that prevent us from giving with a whole and pure heart.

A former Catholic missionary now working in finance, Will Murley helps Catholic families and business owners with financial planning. He also speaks at parishes and ministry events on the topic of faith and finance. Originally from Florida, Will Murley lives in Downingtown, PA with his wife and son.
